1. GENERAL TERMSAll drawings will include a watermark that you may not remove. Unless you have purchased commercial rights, I still request that you credit me in descriptions.Commercial rights are purposely expensive to deter people from asking.I might record the drawing process and post it on my socials.Prices are not subject to change. If requested, I will refrain from further contact to avoid conflict.I have the right to reject any order that I do not feel comfortable drawing for any reason.Normal Commissions without commercial rights are considered personal usage and cannot be used for monetisation.2. PAYMENTThe currency accepted is either £ GBP or $ USD, and payment is made only through a PayPal invoice.Commissions must be paid in full after sketch approval and any necessary corrections have been made. After the sketch is approved, I will send you a PayPal invoice with these terms included. Plus what you have requested.Refunds will be available if the work isn’t completed within 3 months. A delay could be possible due to problems related to chronic pain and or illness.You will not be charged until after the sketch is approved. (The sketch will have an obstructive watermark.)3. PROCESS AND DELIVERYYou can request a commission via email using the template provided below, along with the prices. If you are accepted, I will email you back to discuss some details. I can email you back at any time since no money is involved yet. Deadlines aren’t recommended for working with me, as I can’t guarantee my availability due to health reasons.I will notify you when I have started on your commission and email you the process as I go. While I'm working on your commission, I will review it with you to ensure it meets your liking. Although corrections made will cease once flat colours are accepted.During the reviews, you will see work-in-progress. Since I requested full payment, the final piece will include the watermark.The time it takes to complete your commission varies from 1 week to 3 months upon acceptance, depending on factors such as health, life events, or complexity.If anything arises that will delay the initially estimated delivery time, I will notify you as soon as possible.Once the piece is finished, you will receive the full-resolution image in PNG format, along with a web-friendly size in JPEG format. Note that there is no physical product.Commercial rights! To request this, you must pay £200, which includes the commission price. Buying commercial rights gives you the right to sell the artwork on products such as T-shirts or album covers. However, please still include the credit in the product's description. “Artwork by ClownOfClubs”. Commercial rights are intentionally expensive to deter requests for them.Normal commissions are used for personal purposes, such as gifts, YouTube thumbnails, or simply artwork of your characters. You can post them on social media with credit and without monetisation.If you have questions regarding normal and commercial, don’t be afraid to ask; I will then add them to the FAQ if they are not already there.4. COPYRIGHTI, ClownOfClubs (the artist), claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the buyer. Therefore, I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:Promote myself with it everywhere.Publish books with it (e.g., art books).Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)Post it wherever I wantNote: If the artwork is something personal, I will not post about it; however, that also removes your right to post. Withdrawing my right to post means you cannot request commercial rights if I am unable to post about it.The buyer is allowed to:Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it to all your social media profiles, forums, etc.)Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as their own, but not the artwork itself.`Use the artwork to promote themselves with credit in the description.Use the artwork on their YouTube channel and in monetised videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.
Commercial rights purchased mean you can use it for products such as T-shirts or badges and monetise with credit.The following is considered copyright infringement and will result in denylisting:Reproducing or using copyrighted artwork commercially means deriving financial benefit from it in any way.Using art in AI art generation tools can lead to consequences, even if you have commercial rights. If caught, you will be blocked from commissions.Claiming the artwork as your ownRemoving my signature from the artworkAltering the artwork without my consentI reserve the full rights to the image and its use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon (rights to the image for your non-personal use may be purchased at any time you may request commercial rights later on. Rights are not given until paid.)5. What do you get?I will send you five low-effort thumbnails. The thumbnail doesn’t count towards the sketch approval, but it helps with the composition and pose. You won’t be charged for this.Sketch/drafts that you must accept before I continue the work.Requested canvas size including other requested resolutions.
